Because I don’t have to go to work for the next two weeks, I’m going to challenge myself to get back on track. Not only does the eating out add up money wise (or subtract from my wallet) but it also adds on to my waist. I use to be so strict with my eating habits when the funds were a little more strict, cooking each and every meal homemade.
So, for the next two weeks I’m going to cook all meals, not eating out once. That means no cheap bacon and egg sandwiches from The Commissary before work, no pulled pork sandwiches from Dinosaur BBQ before BINGO! on Wednesdays, or iLove slices for a late night printing break. To push it a little further, one of these meals will be fresh juice. You heard it, getting my health on.
As part of my commitment to stay on track, I’ll blog each and every day sharing photographs of my eats and the corresponding recipes.
What are you doing to stay healthy during this tricky and oh-so glutenous time of the year?
