I got it! The treadmill off of craigslist. It was a little further than expected (definitely not in Saratoga Springs as stated) but worth the trip. And thank goodness for Joe coming along, well driving his truck, because it was in the basement and was/still is heavy. Once back to Joe’s, we strapped it in the fit and I was homeward bound. Shout out to my landlord who helped me carry it in- thank you! He kept commenting on how large it was and that it might scratch the hardwood floor- rest assure, I have a yoga mat under the wheels and it fits perfectly in front of the window. Take a look.
Like the title states, I have the jitters and can’t wait to hop on it. After a little more homework (and time to let dinner settle), I’ll sanitize it and jump on. I hate running on treadmills, but I need to get moving and seeing as I don’t get myself early enough to run in the dark, I’ll be able to listen to my morning show and train.
Weigh in update: last week I lost 4.2 pounds! I really stuck to clean eating, and only did little activity, hopefully this week will be just as successful. Once I hit my 10% marker, I’ll be able to set my overall goal and will at that point post my before photograph. I’ll surely keep everyone updated this week.
Speaking of the holidays, we had our first snowfall here in Troy last week. I took this photograph with my iphone out the front window of the office- we had Christmas music on playing in the background.
It didn’t accumulate to much, but I was unprepared in my ballet flats and no snow/ice scraper in my car. I had to use an umbrella to clean everything off after class. My dad is the best- he heard I was unprepared and picked me up a scrapper, a mini shovel to keep in my car (with an extending handle), and a big shovel for my apartment. Bring it on mother nature! Err, please wait until I have my snow tires on.
This weekend was beautiful- I hope everyone enjoyed the weather and wasn’t stuck inside doing homework like I was. I have a ton more to complete tonight, but I can finally see the light at the end of the semester… only six more weeks of the semester- and they are going to fly!
