Still Missing by Chevy Stevens, the third book I’ve read this year. I’m not much of a fiction fan but I saw this on a couple people’s summer reading lists and figured I’d give it a try. And to be honest, if I start a book, I don’t like to not finish it because I’m afraid it’ll get better and miss out. I’m glad I didn’t put this one down.
Personally, I found the first two-thirds of the book a little slow but then bam! much better. I don’t want to give much away, but the story line is about a realtor that gets kidnapped by a straight up freak. I did love how each chapter was set up– a therapy session with her psychiatrist that jumps form present day to past. It is easy to follow and keeps you engaged. The ending is one you’ll never predict (or at least I didn’t) and left me feeling satisfied.
