Oh, how this small space on the internet has changed over the past two years! What started off as a place to document and share my stay-cation with coworkers had turned into a spot to capture the people, food and experiences that are happening in my everyday life.
There is no place like home.
The four agreements I (try) to live by each day:
- Be impeccable with your word.
- Don’t take anything personally.
- Don’t make assumptions.
- Always do your best.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does “zee lemons” stand for? You know the saying, “when life gives you lemons…” well, this was me one day challenging life to pass as many lemons to me and I’ll always make lemonade. “The” sounds a little fancier and more fun with a faux French accent.
How can I get ahold of you? For now, you can shoot me an email at my personal address: email@example.com.
What kind of camera do you use? I use my iPhone a lot and edit the photographs with the vsco cam and afterglow apps. I also use a Nikon D3000, Pentax 35mm (my dad’s first camera), and Holga. I have no clue how to edit photographs with Photoshop.
Is life really that perfect? No, I never said my life was perfect. I just choose to document and focus on the good that is in my life rather than dwelling on the bad- or what I don’t have. Although I do like to keep things on the positive side, you will occasionally stumble on something a little more emotional. I find that in sharing these I not only move forward, but connect to a lot more readers who may also be experiencing that same feelings/life experience. Have you ever heard the saying, “comparison is the thief of joy”? It couldn’t be more true in the blogging world. Please don’t compare your life to my blog (or any other blog for that matter). Step back and spread the happiness.
